Achieved 5x faster loading speeds and doubled page scores

Problem

The client had MASSIVE loading speed issues—we’re talking a brutal 15–20 seconds to load, every single time. Page scores were deep in the red. An instant deal-breaker, especially for a webshop.

Result

Page speed improved drastically—from 15 seconds to an average of 3. But that’s not all—page scores skyrocketed past 90%. While we suggested further improvements, the client was already thrilled with the results.

Our Approach

When we started, we had a few questions. What kind of caching are you using? Could it be a device issue?—you know, the usual suspects. But they couldn’t really give us answers on the spot. So, we rolled up our sleeves and did some digging.
