Agent142 – A HomeOffice Calendar

Instant HomeOffice Requests – quick, easy, and user-friendly

Problem

Back in 2021, when homeoffice became the norm, most companies had no system to track it. The go-to method? Send an email to your boss and wait for approval. The main goal was to cut down on manual work, but this back-and-forth ate up time on both sides—especially since every request got approved anyway.

Result

After deployment, we did a quick rundown of how it works, and the team loved it! What used to take minutes—or even hours—was now done in seconds with minimal effort.

Our Approach

We needed to automate a simple process: shoot a preformatted email to the manager requesting homeoffice day(s), and get an instant approval response. Sounds easy enough, right?

So, we got to work. First, we built a clean, user-friendly calendar view where people could select their days with ease. Then, we added a public view so everyone could see who’s working from home, keeping things transparent and organized. Simple, effective, and it just works.
